Booking System

Energize Your Fitness, Unleash Your Power!

Rooeda is Booking System for an Indoor Cycling Studio Web-app built in React, Node.js and MongoDB.

We used the Carbon Design System, a set of UI components and design guidelines created by IBM, to help us build consistent, accessible, and visually appealing web applications. The Carbon Design System provides a comprehensive library of components and resources that allowed us to quickly develop our web application while ensuring that it had a cohesive look and feel.

We use Stripe as our payment processor, which allows us to securely process and accept payments from all major credit and debit cards.

Lean UX

Empathize

An empathy map is a tool used to better understand and empathize with the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors of a particular user or customer group.

In conclusion, an empathy map can be a helpful tool to gain a deeper understanding of the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors of a particular user or customer group. Through this empathy map for indoor cycling, we can see that participants may have a range of emotions and concerns, but ultimately they are motivated to push themselves and feel accomplished after the workout. By taking into account the user's perspective and experience, businesses and organizations can better design and tailor their indoor cycling classes to meet the needs and desires of their customers.

User Survey

User surveys are an essential tool for understanding the needs and preferences of customers at Rooeda, an indoor cycling studio. By collecting feedback from riders, Rooeda can identify areas for improvement and better tailor their offerings to meet the needs of their clientele. Through surveys, Rooeda can gauge how riders feel about the quality of their equipment, the effectiveness of their classes, and the overall atmosphere of the studio.

They can also ask for suggestions on how to improve and get a sense of what types of classes and programs riders would like to see offered. Ultimately, user surveys help Rooeda build stronger relationships with their customers and create an environment that fosters a sense of community and a love of fitness.

User-flow

In summary, the user-flow of an indoor cycling web app involves a series of steps that a user takes to interact with the application, from the landing page to achieving their fitness goal. It typically includes signing up or logging in, accessing the dashboard, choosing a workout, joining a class, adjusting bike settings, tracking progress, interacting with instructors and other users, and viewing performance metrics.

The user-flow aims to provide a seamless and engaging experience that helps users achieve their fitness goals and stay motivated. By following a well-designed user-flow, indoor cycling web apps can enhance user satisfaction and increase retention.

Wireframes

Wireframes are essential tools used in the design process of digital products. When it comes to an indoor cycling experience like Rooeda, wireframes are crucial in outlining the user journey from signing up to booking a class, picking up a bike, and paying.

Starting with signing up, the wireframe would typically include a registration page where users can create an account by filling in basic information like their name, email address, and password. Once registered, users can log in to the Rooeda platform to book a class. The booking process wireframe would typically include a page that displays the available classes along with their times and instructors. Users can then select their preferred class and reserve a spot.

Next up is picking up a bike, and the wireframe would typically include a page that shows the location of the bikes available for use. Users can select the bike of their choice and confirm their selection. To ensure a smooth experience, the wireframe may also include a feature that allows users to check the availability of bikes in real-time to avoid any disappointment.

Finally, the wireframe would include a page for paying, where users can input their payment details and confirm their booking. This page would typically include different payment options, such as credit card, we used Stripe as payment processing. Once the payment is confirmed, users can enjoy their indoor cycling experience on the Rooeda platform. Overall, the wireframes for Rooeda would ensure a seamless and user-friendly experience for users from start to finish.

Payments

We use Stripe as our primary payment processor to securely handle all transactions on our platform. In the rare event that Stripe declines a card, we also offer MercadoPago as a secondary payment option to ensure that our customers can still complete their purchase with ease.

Grid

The Carbon Design System grid is a flexible and responsive grid system that can be used to create a wide range of layouts for web applications. When it comes to designing a calendar, the grid system can be particularly useful for organizing and displaying events in a structured and visually appealing way.

Git: The Power of Distributed Version Control

At Rooeda, we used a Git repository to manage our software development process. By using Git, we were able to keep track of changes made to the codebase, collaborate with team members, and maintain multiple versions of the software.
