Goal: To create an immersive and user-centric experience for guests to explore the services, restaurants, and benefits offered by the World of Hyatt through a kiosk interface.
Methodology:
- Kickoff Meeting: Initiated a collaborative session with the research team to gain valuable insights into user behaviors and preferences related to travel experiences.
- User Persona Development: Derived actionable design decisions from the research findings by creating user personas that represented the target audience.
- Information Architecture: Worked closely with the UX team to create a comprehensive site map and intuitive user flow for the kiosk's home page, ensuring easy navigation and discoverability.
- Low-Fidelity Wireframes: Designed initial wireframes with a focus on layout and content placement, allowing us to evaluate and iterate on the user interface design effectively.
- High-Fidelity Prototypes: Developed visually appealing and interactive high-fidelity prototypes, incorporating elements of the Hyatt brand to ensure consistency and reinforce the hotel's identity.
- Cross-Browser Compatibility: Thoroughly tested the prototypes across various browsers to ensure seamless user experience and compatibility across different platforms.
- Accessibility and Quality Assurance: Conducted rigorous quality assurance checks to guarantee pixel-perfect designs and adherence to accessibility standards, ensuring an inclusive experience for all users.
- Collaboration with Development Team: Collaborated closely with the development team to seamlessly hand off the design assets and collaborated throughout the implementation process to ensure a technically feasible and seamless interaction design.
